Veterinary Technician Wanted: West Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency Services, LLC is looking for full-time and/or part-time, highly motivated, personable, reliable team player with enthusiasm for veterinary healthcare.
We are a high-quality, after-hours, urgent care facility, located in Lima, Ohio. The successful candidate must enjoy working with animals and ESPECIALLY their owner.
Preferred applicants would be licensed or able to sit for the VTNE in the next 12 months, be friendly, outgoing, have a polished, professional appearance, and be detail oriented. In addition to assisting the doctor in a technical capacity, candidates must be willing and able to professionally greet clients in person and on the telephone, promote the positive image of the hospital, act as the clients’ liaison to the doctors, check patients in and out, and collect fees, as well as light cleaning. Knowledge of Clientrax software is a bonus!
Applicants MUST be willing to work nights, weekend hours, and holidays on rotation as we are an emergency clinic. Our hours of operation are 6pm to 8am Monday through Thursday, 6pm Friday till 8am Monday, and 24 hours for all major holidays. You must be able to interact with clients/the public. Full-time Employment Benefits include: Comprehensive salary ($16.50-$30/ hour depending on licensure and experience) with paid time off after 90 days, monthly practice-paid supplement for health care, a yearly scrub allowance, and practice-paid Continuing Education.
